Peace One Day - Jeremy - BrandoGroup

Meet my friend Jeremy!

For his (I do not find enough amazing words here!) mission he is always looking for partners = multipliers!

In 1999, actor turned filmmaker Jeremy Gilley MBE set out to document his efforts to create an annual PEACE DAY. To this end he founded the non-profit organisation Peace One Day. In 2001 the organisation’s efforts were rewarded when the member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September – PEACE DAY.

Building PEAVE ONE DAY’s mission is to become a content generator and a destination for global discussions around the issues of justice, equality, diversity, inclusion, climate action, PEACE, sustainability and the mobilisation of youth, leaving audiences INFORMED, INSPIRED and ENGAGED.

Jeremy's PEACE ONE DAY objectives,
which I would love to be able to contribute to are:

- 3 billion people aware of Peace Day 21 September by 2025
- decrease violence on Peace Day, including in the cyber world
- share free education resources with schools in all 193 UN Member States

Damn #two, it's what my parents taught me + it's what I am teaching my son (almost) every evening before dinner when he is 'playing' (too) long in the shower!
= it's what we all (who have water whenever we open the tab!) should do every single day!

Being a 'better' leader tomorrow starts with the willingness to set a 'better' example for (y)our teams today.

When employees feel empowered, valued + accountable, they are more likely to take on higher responsibilities + perform better.
Conversely, neglecting the 'Emotional Culture' can lead to disconnection, inaction, resignation, and even burnout.

Ironically, companies still tend to 'overlook' the Emotional Culture that can have such a significant impact on their overall performance - the company’s bottom line. As someone who witnessed the negative effects of ignoring Emotional Culture far too often during her career in Human Resource Management, Petra made it her mission to help companies + their leaders making a difference in their work culture + cultivate a healthy work environment.

For organizations + leaders to continuously evolve in an ever-changing business environment, we need to be willing to challenge our ‘over the years’ established 'boxed' mindset + behaviors.

As a society, we have learned that when faced with challenges, we need to adapt to a new perspective with the desire to do better.
Looking at today's business environment dominated by speed, digital transformation, multi-generational workforces and AI, a new perspective on leading organizations can only be gained by transforming our old perspective.

Petra's approach is focused on driving the human aspect of transformation based on 'Emotional Intelligence'.

Though Emotional Intelligence is a buzzword in today's corporate world, it is still an underrated + underestimated topic.

Changing habits + behaviors - especially the unconscious ones - is harder than we think. Petra's comprehensive approach consist of an always bespoke mix of assessment + training + coaching + consulting to make your transformation as successful as possible.
